ASP Underdrive pulley systems increase engine horsepower by reducing the amount of power required to drive external engine accessories. For example, the alternator, power steering, water pump and air conditioner all rob horsepower from the engine. By replacing a factory crank pulley with a resized ASP crank pulley, the accessories are carefully slowed, resulting in more horsepower available to drive the rear wheels.

The ASP LS1 LS2 crank pulley also reduces the rotating inertia on the front of the crankshaft allowing for faster revving. Tuners can expect up to 13 rear wheel hp increase with this kit installed on a stock Corvette LS1.

ASP pulleys are manufactured from Billet Steel or Aluminum, exceeding factory quality.  All Corvette and Camaro LS1 and LS2 pulleys are built in the U.S.A, and are some of the only options on the market that have gone through extensive testing to receive SFI approval.  This ensures that ASP pulleys are of the highest quality, each and every time.
